How the appointment runs.
First appointments take 2.5 to 3 hours. Most of that time is not the tattoo.

Mapping
Before anything touches your skin, we map the shape to your face. This is where most of the real work happens. The tattoo is built to match the map, not the other way around. Take your time here.

Numbing
Topical anaesthetic is applied and left to work properly. Rushing this leads to discomfort mid-session and inconsistency in the result. We wait.

Tattoo work
Brow tattoo takes 1 to 1.5 hours of active work. Lip work takes 1.5 to 2 hours. Combination brows and lips or correction work takes longer. We discuss the estimate at the start of your appointment.
1–2 hours
What healing looks like.
The result you leave with is not the result you keep. Cosmetic tattoo heals in stages over six to eight weeks.
Days 1–5
Darker and tender.
Expect the colour to look 20–40% darker than the finished result. Some swelling and tenderness in the first 24–48 hours. Flaking begins around day 3.
Week 2
Noticeable fading.
Flaking completes. Colour drops significantly. Sometimes dramatically. This is normal. The pigment is not gone.
Weeks 3–4
Settling.
The pigment softens and consolidates. What looked too light in week two will come back slightly. Let it settle.
6–8 weeks
The healed result.
This is when we assess the work and do a perfecting session. Included for brow and lip tattoo. Correction touch-ups are charged separately.
Keep the area dry for the first five days. No sun, no swimming, no picking. After healing, SPF over tattooed areas extends the result.

Some situations need adjusting, postponing, or a different treatment. Tell me before you come in.

A $200 deposit is required at booking. Applied to your appointment total. Required within 48 hours to hold your appointment.
